AHEPA Members Tour Hellenic Navy Headquarters

On July 10, 2017, members of the AHEPA Family participated in a unique tour of the Hellenic Naval Headquarters on the island of Salamis. Graciously hosted by Vice Admiral Pavlopoulos, the Commander-in-Chief of the Hellenic Fleet, the delegation from AHEPA was led by Eric Hill, District 2 Advisor to the Sons of Pericles. The delegation also included members of the AHEPA, Sons of Pericles, and Maids of Athena from Florida and New York.

The historic tour included several briefings, observation of dozens of crafts, including the Frigate Psaras, and greetings from the elite forces of the Hellenic Navy SEALs. Visitors and hosts alike spoke continuously of the importance of such events as a way of creating and strengthening a direct link between the Hellenic Diaspora and the armed forces of the Patrida.
